DNN Profile Properties in PostInfo Template

Is it possible to include DNN core profile properties in the PostInfo template?

I have set the "City" profile property visible to all users and added [DNN:PROFILE:CITY] to the template, but it doesn't seem to be grabbing the profile property.

That should still work.  You have to make sure that the permissions on the profile property are set properly.  This means checking the default value and also the value on set for the individual user.

Ok, now all of the sudden it's showing "Private" so I'm half way there.

I double checked and the Default Visibility is set to "AllUsers".  I've also checked my own profile and verified that the property is set to "Public" at the account level.

Correction.   It is working properly for some users.

Not sure why It's not working for my own account though.

I've had strange issues with this exact scenario. It seems that members only has been the only setting that works and not always. Public doesn't seem to work properly and admins don't always experience the same result.

I'm not even using AF 5 so I assume this is a DNN permissions issue and not related to the forum.

Just an FYI. Try members only visibility and see what happens.

Is your user a SUPERUSER?

@supermansrf: Good tip.   Setting the visibility to "Members" seemed to do the trick.   That's probably an OK setting in this case.

@christoc:  Admin yes, Super no.
